Conor Anthony McGregor is a professional mixed martial artist from Ireland who was born on July 14, 1988. He was a former featherweight and lightweight double champion in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is the first UFC fighter to simultaneously hold titles in two weight divisions.
Conor was formerly the lightweight and featherweight champion of Cage Warriors. He is currently unranked in the UFC lightweight standings.
Early Career and Life
Conor Mcgregor would get into combat sports in the early 2000s at the age of 12 when he started boxing to protect himself against bullies. In 2006, Mcgregor would move to Lucan, Dublin, and would meet future UFC fighter, Tom Egan and would eventually start training with him.
Mcgregor made his amateur MMA debut in 2007 for Ring of Truth and would win the fight via TKO in the first round. After the fight, he would go professional and sign with Cage of Truth. Mcgregor would have a professional record of 12-2 which would include winning the Cage Warriors Featherweight and Lightweight Championship. He would be signed by the UFC in 2013.

Conor McGregor's fiancée is Dee Devlin. McGregor and Devlin have been in a relationship for close to 10 years and have three kids: Conor Jack Jr, Croia, and Rian. Devlin is from Walkinstown, Dublin, and dropped out of school at 15. She worked various odd jobs until she was around 20.

Conor McGregor UFC
Conor McGregor debuted in the UFC at UFC on Fuel TV 9 against Marcus Brimage. He would win the fight in the first round via TKO punches. McGregor would build on his momentum as he defeated the likes of Max Hollow and ay, Dustin Poirier before getting a title shot against Jose Aldo at UFC 189. Aldo would, unfortunately, suffer an injury that would lead to Mcgregor fighting Chad Mendes for the Interim Featherweight Title instead. Mcgregor defeated Mendes in the last seconds of the second round via TKO(punches).
Mcgregor fought Aldo at UFC 194 to unify the Featherweight Championship. McGregor Ko'ed Aldo in 13 seconds to end Aldo's 10 years run as the UFC Featherweight Champion and became the new UFC Featherweight Champion in the process. Mcgregor would next fight Nate Diaz, who took the fight on short notice. Mcgregor would lose the fight for the first time in his UFC career but would beat Nate in their rematch at UFC 202.
Mcgregor then challenged Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 for the UFC Lightweight Championship and beat Eddie in the 2nd round to become the first-ever UFC 2-division-champion. He would then lose to Khabib at UFC 229 for the Lightweight title and then win his Welterweight debut against Cowboy Cerrone before going fight-losing losing streak against Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 and UFC 264.

Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather Jr
Conor Mcgregor fought Floyd Mayweather Jr in his boxing debut in 2017. McGregor would win the first round in all the judge's scorecards but would lose the next 8 rounds to Mayweather. McGregor would edge out Floyd in punches land for the first 5 rounds before being thoroughly outclassed from rounds 6 to 10. The fight would end in the 10th round via TKO in Floyd Mayweather's favor.
Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov
Conor McGregor fought Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. This was Conor's return to the Octagon after 2 years and would see both fighters fight for the UFC Lightweight Championship. Khabib would dominate Mcgregor on the ground and would have ground control time of more than 12 minutes. The fight ended in the 4 round when Khabib won via Submission.

Conor McGregor fought Dustin Poirier for the third time at UFC 264. Dustin would outstrike McGregor in the first round and win the round 10-8 on the judge's scorecard. The fight would however not go into the second round due to Conor getting an ankle injury during the last moments of the first round. Due to this, Dustin would be declared the winner via TKO(doctor stoppage) and would thus win the trilogy.
