Darren Kent

Darren is well known for his acting skills and has had the great fortune to work with some of the best in the business. His career has steadily advanced since he made his Game of Thrones debut.

Born and brought up in Essex, Darren completed his education at Italia Conti in 2007. He made his debut in the horror movie Mirrors in 2008. Later, he had a small role as a goatherd in Slavers Bay in an episode of Game of Thrones. Recently, he played the part of a reanimated corpse in the movie Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, which was released in 2023.

He has worked on various other projects such as Snow White and the Huntsman, Marshal's Law, Bloody Cuts, The Frankenstein Chronicles, Blood Drive, Les Misérables, Green Fingers, EastEnders, Happy Hours, Love Without Walls, and Birds Sorrow.

In 2012, Darren received the best actor award at the Van D'or Awards for his portrayal of Danny, a young boy who suffered from a rare skin condition that prevented him from being exposed to sunlight, in the movie Sunny Boy. Interestingly, Darren himself struggled with a skin disorder, as well as osteoporosis and arthritis, just like his character in the film. Additionally, Darren was a talented writer and director who directed the short film You Know Me in 2021, which was recognized with a January Award.

Kent was recently seen in the 2023 film 'Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves' where he essayed the role of a reanimated corpse.

 Darren Kent passed away at 39 last week on Friday (August 11). Kent's talent agency, Carey Dodd Associates, confirmed the news on X (formerly known as Twitter). The heartfelt statement read, “It is with deep sadness we have to tell you that our dear friend and client Darren Kent passed away peacefully on Friday. His parents and best friend [were] by his side. Our thoughts and love are with his family in this difficult time. RIP my friend.”

People said that the late actor was suffering from long-term health struggles. However, the cause of his death was not known.
