The period of its existence is the 13th century. Chandvardai's famous book is " Prithvirajraso ". Its language is called Pingal by linguists , which is synonymous with Brajbhasha in Rajasthan . That's why Brajbhasha Hindi to ChandvardaiConsidered to be the first great poet of 'Raso' has been composed for the war-description of Maharaj Prithviraj. It narrates his heroic battles and love affairs. Therefore, there are only two aspects of heroism and adornment in this. He was a friend and royal poet of India's last Hindu emperor Prithviraj Chauhan III . Prithviraj ruled Ajmer and Delhi from 1165 to 1192. This was also the time of creation of Chandbardai.

Bahi (historical book)

Chandbardai, who is also known as Chandra Bhatt, Chandbardai has combined the history of the life of Prithviraj Tritiya (Rai Pithora) in his Bahi (writing of history) and also the history related to the Muslim saints Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and Rai Pithora who came to Ajmer. Mention is found in the said book, Rai Pithora had a maidservant named Meena who was from Bhil caste and was a very beautiful girl. Chandbardai writes that Rai Pithora had many children from this woman named Meena, who were unaurous children, this is the reason. From this, he could not get the surname of his father Prithviraj Tritiya (Rai Pithora) and was known only by the Bhil caste of his mother, among these children, two sons named Lakha Bhil and Teka Bhil, influenced by Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, became Muslims and became his disciples. And Lakha Bhil named himself Fakhruddin and Teka Bhil named himself Mohammad Yadgar. He served Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti a lot.Descendants of both Lakha Bhil and Teka Bhil, who had become Muslims, are still serving in the Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, as time passed, the descendants of Lakha Bhil and Teka Bhil felt ashamed of the history of their forefathers. And for several hundred years they started conspiring to prove themselves Syed and Sadat. In the greed of getting more offerings and more respect, they named themselves Syed, Chishti, Kazmi, Sanjari, Moini, Shaikhzada, Syedzada, Gaddinshin, Sajdanashin. , Diwan etc. and started associating themselves with the family of the last prophet of Islam, Mohammad Sahab, so that they get a higher status in the society and people give them more respect and attention,Chandra Bhatt's Bahi (Pauthi) has been presented in various ancient court cases in Ajmer and on the basis of British court documents, it has been stamped that all Khadim (servants) of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti were in Lakha Bhil and Teka is a descendant of Bhil who after accepting Islam had named himself Fakhruddin and Mohammad Yadgar.

Aiding in the killing of Ghori

His life was so mixed with Prithviraj's life that it could not be separated. In war, in hunting, in assembly, in travel, he always used to stay with Maharaj and used to participate in everything that happened. Prithviraj Chauhan honored Chandbardai many times by giving lakh pasav, crore pasav, billion pasav, Even when Prithviraj Chauhan was taken to Ghazni by Muhammad Ghori after defeating him and making him a prisoner, he too could not control himself and went to Ghazni. It is believed that when the imprisoned Prithviraj was blinded, seeing him in this condition, his heart melted and he planned to kill Ghori. Under the said plan, he first won the heart of Ghori and then told Ghori that Prithviraj could shoot an arrow of words. Impressed by this, Mohammad Ghori expressed his desire to see this art of Prithviraj. Chandbardai sat on the dais along with Ghori on the day of the performance. The blind Prithviraj was brought to the field and asked to demonstrate his art. As soon as the arrow was fired by Prithviraj on top of an hour, suddenly from the mouth of Ghori "Wah! Wah!!

Four bamboo twenty four yards, Angul Asht Praman.
There is Sultan above, don't miss Chauhan.
Thus Ghori was killed by Prithviraj with the help of Chand Bardai. Prithviraj Raso composed by him is considered to be the first authentic poem in Hindi language.
