Early life

Shri Mridul Krishna Shastri Ji was born in Vrindavan in the family of Saint Swami Haridas Maharaj of 15th century, who was also the founder and rejuvenator of classical Indian Music. Swami Haridas Ji was also the Guru of Famous musicians such as Baiju Bawara and Taansen.

Musical Career

Maestros like Taansen and Baiju Bawara are considered as musical Guru. Shri Mridul Krishna Shastri Ji’s father Acharya Goswami Shri Moolbihari Ji Shastri and mother Shrimati Shanti Goswami Ji got Shri Mridul Krishna Ji Maharaj as blessing of Goddess Saraswati. He got his elementary teachings of Bhagwat, Sanskrit Moolpath & Sanskrit Language from his father. He learnt 8000 shlokas and chaupai of Shriram Charitmanas. It was at the age of 16, he started Shrimad Bhagwat in Haridwar at the banks of river Ganga. Since then he has completed more than 700 Bhagwat Kathas.

Precious Works

Shri Bhagwat Mission Trust is undertaking under the guidance and with the blessings of Shri Mridul Krishna Shastri Ji. It runs Shri Radharani Gaushala in Vrindavan with presently 150 cows. The Trust is also running Shri Radha Sneh Bihari Ashram in Vrindavan, which provides accommodation and food many people & devotees. Shri Mridul Krishna Shastri Ji’s melodious Bhajans for Radharani and Lord Krishna create the divine atmosphere where one begins to feel the presence of the Lord. It enlightens every soul present there with divinity within and around. His way of explaining shlokas are so simple that a person can easily remember for lifetime. His sweet voice, simple vocabulary gives everyone time to absorb the divine feeling into their heart and feel content hearing the Kathas.

Devotional Works

Shri Mridul Ji is Pramukh Gadi Virjman at Shri Banke Bihari Mandir in Vrindavan, India. He is known as Guruji to all his devotees. He has enchanted people all over the world by reciting Bhajans in his soothing voice. Shri Bhagwat katha by Mridul Krishna Shastri attracts large number of devotees to the Ashram. Not only in India but abroad too people come in large numbers to hear it, thousands came to attend it in USA. There was huge gathering and everybody was blessed with Katha with the way Guruji had explained in seven days. His divine voice creates vibrations in every heart. His speeches are completely filled with great devotion to the Lord. His Bhajans give the picture of the Radha Manohara, Yashoda dulala, bhakta Vatsalya, Shri Krishna Ras leela, Lord Krishna’s praise, everything as if we are seeing it in front of our eyes and not just hearing it only. That’s the magic he creates, that’s the divinity and devotion one attains as one listens to his Pravachans, Kathas & melodious Bhajans Kirtans. His simple and sweet voice creates a magical divine environment. Its simply great listening to him as it creates devotion towards Lord Krishna.
